CT Bombers Info

About the Bombers

Established in 1998, the Connecticut Bombers is one of the top rated AAU programs in the country. Our goal is to place 100% of our graduates in the best colleges and universities in the country where they can excel both academically and athletically. We take pride in the fact that the majority of our players who continue their baseball careers in college are developed in the Bombers system at an early age.

The Program is a very demanding one. We challenge players both mentally and physically so they are capable of starting as freshmen in college. We firmly believe that the hard work and superior coaching they receive by being members of the Bomber’s program will translate into success both in the classroom and on the baseball field. We make players better, whether they are average, good or great.

8-12U Program

The Bombers began its 12U Program in 2002 and it is designed to teach young players how to play on the big diamond. With less emphasis on developing and teaching young players at the Little League level, we give parents a better option when it comes to trying to increase the skill level of the youth player. Our emphasis is on teaching and skills development and less on wins and losses at the 12U level. All teams practice 2-3 times per week and these practices include conditioning. Each team will consist of 12-13 players so playing time is not an issue. Teams in the same age bracket such as 11's and 12's will practice together which allows us to have multiple coaches for practices.

13-14U Program

The Bombers 13-14U program begins and ends with discipline, both mentally and physically. We make players understand that mental focus leads to physical success. We play an extensive 80+ game schedule beginning with weekend games in April to accommodate middle school, and our competition includes High School Freshman and JV teams. We compete in the Greater New Haven Baseball League and travel to tournaments that will challenge our players. If we are dominating, we are NOT playing the best competition.

15-17U Program

The Bombers 15u -17u program historically has been very successful. This program marks the beginning of the college recruiting and selection process. Teams play a dynamic 55-70 game schedule which includes several top tier tournaments with the season ending in early August.

18U Program

Our 18u program is considered one of the top programs in the nation. The team is made up of High school players and in most cases, players who have already committed to colleges. Our players face the best competition in the country to prepare themselves for their upcoming college seasons.

Eligibility and Placement

Any current Bomber will be placed on a team without a tryout. All other players will be placed at the proper level without a heavy emphasis on the player's age. If we determine that a player will be challenged by "playing up", we will place him in a higher age bracket.

Work Ethic & Education

Players are expected to be able to accept and apply both physical and mental changes in their games. With hard work at practices and on their own, the player WILL get better.

Each player must maintain a "B" average in all core courses with no exceptions. Report cards will be expected and grades will be monitored.

Our Mission

The CT Bombers Baseball Club is committed to encouraging young players in their pursuit of both athletic and personal growth by providing a baseball-centric learning environment that emphasizes the spirit of competitiveness and good sportsmanship.

What sets us apart from other youth baseball clubs is that we have a dedicated team of coaches and players who continuously hone their skills by competing against some of the best teams in the country.
